Jah Observer & Blackboard Jungle
Joining us from London, Jah Observer is the most legendary sound system from the Jamaican Notting Hill carnival (celebrating 35 uninterrupted years) and one of the most mythical on the British reggae / dub scene.
Gone to take it easy and enjoy a well deserved retirement in Jamaica, its boss and "selector" Spiderman only plays on very rare occasions, but he was seduced by what a good match Say Watt? seemed to be for his own values (free admission, outdoor event). He will "select" on a genuine homemade system, built by Blackboard Jungle, the band that hails from Rouen and is considered the leading sound system of the French scene, capable of measuring up to the most popular British sound systems, and with whom he'll be sharing the marquee.
Jah Observer will be back in France for the first time in four years, whereas Blackboard Jungle will honor Say Watt? with two performance dates, making them the resident sound system of la Gaîté !
