Mix of instruments and a burst of electro-rock
Guitars, amplifiers and computers: the rock of today, uninhibited through its use of computers.
She, Itta, on drums and voice. He, Marqido, on the computer. Together, they form the Korean-Japanese duo 10, which loses itself in frenetic improvisation which makes full use of the computer, to the great pleasure of connoisseurs of the electronic music of the 70s and Japanese progressive rock.
For the French trio Electric Electric, the rock of today is played on drums, a guitar, and electronic instruments, but it's lost none of its vigor. Their directly sampled guitars and set of omnipresent and overcharged drums make for a thunderous live show.
Zombie Zombie plays John Carpenter is an electronic Road Movie. The Parisian duo (drums and keyboards) devotedly revisit the agonizing electro that the cult producer John Carpenter had composed for his own films, by producing long stretches of throbbing synthesized sound, as though climbing gradually into a trance.
It is always on stage that rock lives up to its full potential, in la Gaîté lyrique's large hall.
