Filmmaker Lina Soualem has curated a programme of short films bringing together cinematic works and artworks. What they share is a common origin: all created by Palestinian artists and filmmakers, they move beyond conventional narrative forms to invent their own languages and open new horizons. These films take us across Palestine, from Gaza to Haifa, from Hebron to Jerusalem, via Tiberias, telling stories shaped by oppression, dehumanisation, and erasure. Acting as a mirror of the world, they reflect on colonisation, displacement, exile, resistance, and memory, where joy and humour also emerge as forms of resistance.
