Gaza: A Collective Scene est une installation collaborative réalisée collectivement par des artistes palestinien·nes et gazaoui·es, réunissant dessin mural, animation et projections d’œuvres issues de la collection du Sahab Museum. Pensée à travers un processus artistique partagé, l’installation recompose une scène de Gaza où images, souvenirs et fragments de la ville dialoguent avec la destruction, la survie et la réinvention.
Nombre des œuvres présentées dans le projet ont disparu pendant le génocide, tout comme une grande partie de Gaza elle-même. Développée collectivement avec des artistes gazaoui·es aujourd’hui installé·es à Paris ainsi qu’avec des étudiant·es des Beaux-Arts de Paris, l’installation rend hommage à Gaza, à ses artistes et à la persistance de leur présence malgré les tentatives d’effacement.
L’installation comprend une fresque murale et des projections animées créées collectivement à partir d’œuvres de la collection du Sahab Museum de : Samaa Abu Allaban, Mohamed Abusal, Adel Al Taweel, Fatma Alhoupi, Adam Al-Mghari, Hazem Alzomar, Hamada Elkept, Fathi Ghaben (in memoriam), Khaled Jarada, Mohammed Joha, May Murad, Rawan Murad, Abod Nasser, Arab Nasser, Tarzan Nasser, Majdal Nateel, Salman Nawati, Majed Shalah, Mohammed Sami (in memoriam), Shareef Sarhan et Yara Zohud.

En parallèle, cinq jeunes artistes palestinien·nes actuellement basé·es à Gaza ont été invités par Khaled Jarada et Sama Abu Allaban, à présenter une sélection d’œuvres témoignant de la vitalité de la scène artistique palestinienne émergente. Cette présentation rassemble des reproductions d'œuvres réalisées par Hussien Al Jerjawy, Sundus Murad, Alaa Khader, Basma Moamen Al-Jarrah et Sara Tayeh, offrant un aperçu de la diversité et de l’énergie de la scène artistique contemporaine de Gaza.

Gaza : A Collective Scene is a collaborative installation created collectively by Palestinian and Gazan artists, bringing together mural drawing, animation, and projected artworks from the Sahab Museum collection. Conceived through a shared artistic process, the installation reconstructs a scene from Gaza where images, memories, and fragments of the city enter into dialogue between destruction, survival, and reinvention.
Many of the works featured in the project disappeared during the genocide, alongside large parts of Gaza itself. Developed collectively with Gazan artists now based in Paris and students from the Beaux-Arts de Paris, the installation stands as a tribute to Gaza, its artists, and the persistence of their presence despite erasure.

In parallel, five young Palestinian artists currently based in Gaza have been invited by Khaled Jarada and Sama Abu Allaban to present a selection of works that showcase the vitality of the emerging Palestinian art scene. This presentation brings together reproductions of works by Hussien Al Jerjawy, Sundus Murad, Alaa Khader, Basma Moamen Al-Jarrah, and Sara Tayeh, offering a glimpse into the diversity and energy of Gaza’s contemporary art scene.
