Roundtables Imagining the Future of Gaza: Creation, destruction, reconstruction
The collective MAAN for Gaza Artists brings together artists and researchers committed to Palestine for a symposium reflecting on the future of Gaza through acts of creation and solidarity in the face of annihilation. These roundtables will address the destruction of cultural heritage in Gaza, the challenges of hosting artists in emergency contexts, and the horizons of reconstruction, despite the ongoing genocide.
These discussions take place in resonance with the international conference “Facing Annihilation: Creation, Hosting, and Commitment,” held in Marseille on May 21–22, 2026, and with the exhibition “Shifting Silence: 40 Artists and Poets from Gaza,” curated by Rasha Salti for MAAN for Gaza Artists.
