Brock Fansler and Eva Aguila, from Experimental Half Hour, make Portland remains weird. Discover every day, from April 23th to 30th, one of their creations. The episode #26 specially created for the TBA:11 merges the loud patterns of Lucky Dragons with the vivid grey of Pod Blotz.
« We were invited to curate and produce a night at an arts festival in Portland called Time Based Art 2011 (TBA:11). We selected Lucky Dragons for their innovation and Pod Blotz for her use of shape and color (or lack of, she makes the color grey seem as vivid as any other in the spectrum). Lucky Dragons came with the concept of moiré patterns as a way to produce sound. We took their concept and applied special effects to create a stunning projection behind them for the audience to feel right with them as they moved the patterns. »
